A Place to Gather
An outdated split-level home in the Sandy area had enclosed space between the kitchen and living area. With this remodel, it became a wonderful gathering place for family and friends.
Thoughtful Details
The client loved to cook and entertain so the cooking space was paramount for him. We created a large island where friends and family could sit and talk while cooking. Added better storage by converting a coat closet to a pantry with organization. We added an automatic light that would turn on as the door opened. Top of the line appliances placed just right for cooking ease. A wall separating the kitchen from the living spaces was removed and since it was load bearing, a beam was placed in it’s stead. A new fireplace and built in cabinets surrounding tied this new open space to the kitchen making it all cohesive and flowing. New front door and stairs with railing made the entry classic and welcoming.
